All Permissible Foods On The Mediterranean Diet For Psoriasis

Breakfast

1 slice gluten-free bread, 2 scrambled eggs, 1/2 cup spinach, and 1/4 avocado.  

Unsaturated fats, which are essential to the Mediterranean diet, are abundant in avocados. 

Lunch

A salad consisting of kale and spinach, pomegranate seeds, toasted walnuts (approximately 1/4 cup), a small handful (2 tablespoons) of olive oil, and apple cider vinegar dressing. 

Nutrients and fiber, which are abundant in walnuts and pepitas, have the potential to reduce inflammation.

Afternoon Snack

About half a cup of Greek yogurt accompanied by a fistful of blueberries.

Anti-inflammatory antioxidants (beneficial vitamins and nutrients) are abundant in berries. 

Probiotic-rich foods, such as yogurt, which contain beneficial microorganisms, may aid in the treatment of psoriasis, according to some studies.

Dinner

1/2 cup quinoa, 1/2 cup mixed fruit (such as citrus or berries), 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar, and olive oil dressing comprise the salad. 

Chicken, grilling, broiling, or baking, 4-6 ounces, marinated in olive oil and fresh herbs such as oregano, garlic, parsley, dill, and/or thyme.
